Service Description

At this class we are going to learn the ancient Japanese technique of Sashiko embroidery. This is a style of Japanese hand embroidery and folk craft that is hundreds of years old with roots in practicality. Once you are confident in how to make the stitches we are going to use them to decorate a small cushion cover. You will need to bring the following to the class (or these can be purchased on the day) 1m closely woven coloured cotton sashiko thread sashiko needles white or silver fabric pencil Please bring packed lunch with you. Microwave available for reheating soup etc. LOTS OF LAUGHS GUARANTEED
