Lulu's Craft Barn

I am Lucinda, otherwise known as Lulu. I am an avid crafter and cannot remember a time when I was not making something, be it knitting, or sewing or something involving sticky backed plastic.

I went through phases of knitting, tapestry, cross stitch and patchwork, I taught myself to crochet after watching an episode of Call the Midwife.  I hold City & Guilds Qualifications in Patchwork & Quilting and OCN Teaching Qualifications.

Lulu's Barn based on our family farm and am lucky to have help from both my husband Wallace and my 2 of my sons, Simon and Ben.

I am Fiona and I am addicted to crochet.  If I am not crocheting for myself I am crocheting bespoke makes for customers, or teaching others to crochet.  Crochet is my life, alongside my husband and 3 grown up sons.

I have been teaching crochet for around 6 years and 1st met Lucinda when I called to buy some wool.  We clicked and since then I have taking crochet classes for Lulu's.  One of the things I like most about my job is that I get to meet so many lovely crafty people and we have such good fun sitting around a table hooks and wool in hand.

As one of my pupils always says 'coming to crochet class is cheaper than therapy'.

I am Helen and I am passionate about crafting and teaching the art of handmade creations. I have an OCN teaching qualification and a background in occupational therapy. My mission is to introduce the craft of upcycling, which involves turning unwanted items into beautiful pieces of art. I also offer a variety of other craft classes, ranging from knitting and crocheting to paper crafting and sewing. I look forward to teaching and inspiring our customers to create something unique and special.

Hello I am Agnes, and I am responsible for teaching knitting at Lulu's Barn.  Like the other tutors I also like to do other crafts such as crochet and sewing, but knitting is my real passion.  I have been teaching for a number of years and really love working with beginners and seeing how their skills and love for the craft develop.  I also love the colours and textures of the different yarns from 4 ply sock wool, the wonderful Stylecraft Special dk, and the cottons used for clothing and dishcloths.

Hello I am Pam, a DNSF (the highest qualification awarded by the Society of Florists) award winning florist who has gained experience throughout Ireland, London and France. I specialise in creating stunning floral designs for weddings, funerals, and other events. I also offer both hobby classes and courses for those interested in changing their careers.
